The first-ever Lean Impact Challenge in NYC: A pitch event for Nonprofits & Social Enterprises
On December 5th, 2013, join an incredible group of nonprofit leaders, social entrepreneurs, Lean experts, philanthropists, funders and innovators for the inaugural Lean Impact NYC Challenge.
We’re inviting all nonprofits and social entrepreneurs to tell us how they’ve used Lean principles to fulfill their mission. Organizations chosen for the event will be invited to do a 5-minute pitch in front of 500 guests and 20 expert judges, including leading philanthropists, investors, and foundations, for a chance to win a cash prize.
There’s no better way to understand how to use Lean for social good, than hearing from 20 amazing organizations who are putting theory into practice at the NYC Lean Impact Pitch Event!
This event will have a limited number of seats, so register early.
How It Works
- Nonprofits or social enterprises who have “gone Lean” will apply to do a 5-minute pitch about “How Lean Principles Made Them More Successful (event if it means failing first).”
- Any nonprofit or social enterprise can apply. Through a combination of online voting and committee review, 20 applicants will be selected.
- The selected participants will pitch at the event, in front of 20 high profile judges, which will include philanthropists, foundations, startup founders, etc.
- The winning nonprofits or social enterprises will receive a cash prize along with being recognized as an innovator.
